What are wavelengths of light?

Light wavelengths are the precise measurements of light’s movement, expressed in nanometers (one billionth of a meter—think extra tiny). In red light therapy, we prioritize the most researched and widely studied wavelengths to ensure effectiveness and safety. These include:

630 nanometers: Known for its ability to target the surface of the skin, this wavelength is widely recognized for promoting skin health, including improving complexion and stimulating collagen production.

660 nanometers: A slightly deeper penetration than 630 nm, this wavelength supports cell repair and regeneration, making it popular for skin rejuvenation and overall wellness.

810 nanometers: Diving deeper into the skin, this infrared wavelength targets muscle and joint tissues, offering benefits like improved circulation and faster recovery.

830 nanometers: Another infrared wavelength, 830 nm is studied for its effects on reducing inflammation and enhancing tissue repair.

850 nanometers: With the deepest penetration of the bunch, 850 nm focuses on alleviating pain and improving muscle recovery by reaching deeper tissues.

And excitingly, we’re soon adding 670 nanometers to our lineup! This wavelength is gaining traction in the field for its benefits in skin rejuvenation and enhanced cellular repair, giving you even more options for targeted results.

When it comes to light wavelengths, precision is key—it’s either the specific measurement or it’s not. While wavelengths themselves remain constant, devices can differ in intensity (how strong the light is) or coverage (how much area it treats). By focusing on scientifically validated wavelengths, we aim to provide the best possible experience for your red light therapy journey!

Why does your product not include blue light?

Our red light therapy devices are designed with a specific focus on deep tissue benefits, including skin health, muscle recovery, and anti-inflammatory effects. Blue light, while useful for certain applications such as antibacterial effects and addressing seasonal affective disorder (SAD) symptoms, is not aligned with our mission or product design.

Additionally, incorporating just a few blue lights into a full panel would have little to no measurable impact. If you’re looking for real benefits from blue light therapy, you would want a device with at least 25% blue light irradiance to achieve significant effects for bacterial reduction and mood enhancement.

Our commitment remains to high-quality red light therapy, backed by extensive research and user results. Specifically, 630nm, 660nm, and 670nm wavelengths have been shown to provide significant skin benefits, including collagen production, enhanced wound healing, and improved skin tone. These wavelengths penetrate the skin at different depths, making them highly effective for anti-aging and skin rejuvenation.

Should I use glasses when using the device?

Protecting your eyes during red light therapy is important, as some individuals may have more sensitive eyesight than others. We strongly advise you to never look directly into the LEDs on your device, as prolonged exposure to the bright light can cause discomfort. Always avert your gaze from the light panel and wear the recommended eye protection for added safety. Using eye protection ensures a comfortable and secure experience while benefiting from the therapy—your eyes will thank you!

What makes your panel different?

Our red light therapy device is built with thoughtful, straightforward engineering that prioritizes quality and reliability. We’ve carefully focused on the essentials, ensuring every detail serves a purpose. With a simple square body design and a durable one-piece steel chassis, the device is both practical and long-lasting. Advanced cooling technology keeps it quiet and efficient, using fewer fans while maintaining peak performance.

We’ve stripped away unnecessary features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, choosing to focus on delivering high-quality light through custom dual-chip LEDs. These LEDs are fused to aluminum heat sink cups, ensuring excellent heat dissipation, improved reliability, and consistent results over time. This precision engineering gives you a powerful, effective device that’s easy to use and built to last.

Our product is made for everyone—whether you’re new to red light therapy or a seasoned user. We’ve eliminated distractions to create a device that works for anyone seeking real results without complication. It’s straightforward, efficient, and reliable, empowering you to prioritize your wellness without overthinking the technology. Simple, high-quality, and accessible—that’s the heart of what we deliver.

Do I need to sit close to your panel?

When it comes to using our red light therapy device, you don’t need to sit super close to the panel to get great results. The lenses are specifically designed with a 30-degree focus, delivering maximum intensity at a distance of 12 inches. In fact, you can sit as far as four feet away and still reap the benefits. Extended duration sessions at greater distances will increase the coverage area, allowing the light to reach more of your body but with less intensity. This is perfect for those who prefer a gentler treatment—just sit further away to broaden the coverage area.

For most people, we recommend starting at a distance of about three feet. Begin with shorter session durations—around two minutes—and gradually work your way up in increments (four minutes, six minutes, eight minutes, and then ten minutes). Once you’re comfortable with 10-minute sessions, you can either stick to the same three-foot distance or slowly move closer to the panel for a more intense treatment. The gradual approach helps your body adjust while ensuring you get the best results in a comfortable and safe manner!
